Florida Greek Service Day
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs hosted its first annual
Florida Greek Service Day on April 8th, 2006.
Throughout the day, all four Greek councils at the University of Florida came together to participate in a variety of service projects across Gainesville. The Panhellenic Council was a proud participant of this event and sent over 500 women to volunteer throughout the city of Gainesville. The ladies involved lent their services to multiple projects, including renovating Rawlings Elementary School, visiting a retirement home and landscaping overrun facilities. This is an event that is held each spring.
